Suspension Traveler is a website that provides actionable mountain biking info, tips and tricks to keep your research to a minimum and get you back out there riding bikes!

I share my knowledge and passion for mountain biking with fellow bikers by creating helpful informational content as well as answering all of your MTB-related questions.

We mountain bikers are a community of people with a passion for the outdoors and the feeling of freedom that comes with going and exploring new places riding bikes.

We love activities that draw us in with the promise of adventure, spectacular vistas, and a whole lot of experiences along the way! That’s why we love traveling with our bikes so much.

“It’s time for me to give back to the sport that has been giving me so much”

Meet the Suspension Traveler

I’m Julian and I made this site to have a place to share what I learned over the years (sometimes the hard way) riding and traveling with bikes.

I had a relatively late start into mountain biking, but I was completely hooked once I tasted the adventure. There’s just nothing close to what you can experience on a mountain bike.

Downhill got me into MTB initially, so kind of a jump into the deep end. Since then I’ve branched out to other disciplines like enduro / trail riding, pumptrack and even some road cycling to keep my fitness up.

Before I got my first car bike rack, had to fit my big downhill mountain bike into a 1999 Honda Civic Sedan every time I went out for a big ride. It was a tight fit, to say the least. Since then my bike transport has improved and now I’m traveling Europe in my campervan during the summers.

I also run the Suspension Traveler Youtube channel where I preview some of Europe’s best MTB trails and downhill lines.

My mission is to pass on some tips and advice that I have picked up over the years of bike adventures in the form of a helpful, informative, and entertaining biking website.

Hope you enjoy what you’ll find here!

Keep riding,
